I would suggest an extra board only for list-discussion, so we can keep the general discussion of models and tactics in the "Cygnar" Board while we have a topic for each list. I would also suggest to make thread-naming-rules for that board. Maybe something like: Castername - points - Listname[optional].

Hiya, loving the new background, except whenever you scroll the mouse over a topic on the menu pages, it highlights the whole box light blue, however the words are light blue as well so they disappear.

So, there are a fair number of other independent forums popping up. I like this one the best so far. Anyway, now that we know for sure that the official general discussion forums and faction forums are gone, maybe forming a network would be a good idea? Lormahordes, for instance, has a pretty big following now. Maybe some cooperation between 2 excellent forums would lead to the benefit of each? lormahordes.freeforums.net

Fair question. I was thinking along the lines of each party agreeing to have a section in their forum/reddit/Facebook titled "Other Resources" which could include links to approved and advocated other forums. If both parties agree to advertise each other, it could give a sense of a larger WMH community. Presently Lormahordes is the replacement for the old faction forums and general discussion. It has a section for pretty much every aspect of PP games. And if they don't have something, they probably will add it. This Cygnar forum is different. It is a forum of JUST CYGNAR. The painting section is going to be almost exclusively this faction. The list building is all CYGNAR. And so on. This allows for greater depth when list dojo and discussion. It could also foster an echo chamber of thought. That's something I wouldn't want in a discussion board for WMH. Being a board that mostly discusses 1 faction could be detrimental. It doesn't need to be, but it could be. Each community has something to offer the other. Lormahordes has the broader community. And this forum has a more cygnar centric viewpoint, delving further into this 1 faction than Lormahordes does. There will already be overlap because there are plenty of players who play Cygnar and another faction. So, the idea would be to loosely connect a fair number of boards. PP has pretty successfully splintered the old community into several pieces. Looking forward, I can totally see people getting a "forum identity" just like a faction identity. Different communities will have different mindsets. But if a fair number of forums are connected as "sister forums" some of those issues could be prevented. Anyway, it's just an idea.

It's a good idea, I am just unsure about how we should implement this co-operation in practice. Assuming Lormahordes is interesting I can see having a dedicated "community forums" section where we advertize for them (and potentially others). I'll talk to the other admins about it

I second the idea of a cooperation. I now such arragements out of the P&P Sector, where they work quite well. Each party has it's own thread on the other side, where they can give infos and so on. And another idea: Could be put up an extra "bootcamp" section, where we only collect links. I would make it a section, so you can have threads for: - Warcaster
- Warjacks
- Battle Engines
- Units (including UA and WA)
- Solos
- Playable Mercs/Minions
- Theme Forces
- Enemy Intel (each Faction a diffrent thread)
So we would have 18 Threads in that board, were we could only collect the links to other postings / external resources. Maybe although a 19th Thread with a collection of "rules clarification"?
