I have a quick question about Arlan's Arcane Reinforcement ability.
If he were to use this action to give my Hurricane damage type Magical on it's weapons, would the Storm Emitters lose their electric type damage? Or would they become both electric and magic type damage?
I'm playing a friend on the weekend and I know that he will drop Krueger2 against me in an attempt to negate electric attacks. Just wondering if Arlan can effectively swap damage types on the Storm Emitters so that I can still damage all the stuff Krueger2 is making immune to electricity?

And I've just thought of part two to my question: If I shoot something with the Storm Emitter that is immune to Electricity. It would not be damaged, but would it still get slammed? Or is the slam a side effect directly linked to the damage type and thus also negated by the models immunity to electricity?
I read the card and answered my own question, it specifically states that if immune to electricity the slam would not occur.

Strangewayes specifically says that he adds the magic damage type, not that he removes anything from the weapon. So he would make your Hurricane shoot magic lightning, it would still have the electricity damage type, as well as the magic damage type.

So my question then would be, if shooting a model that is immune to electricity now actually damage said model because it's doing magical damage?

No. Magical lightning is still lightning.

OK thanks for the clarification guys. Looks like I'm gonna be looking for Storm Emitter targets that are outside of Krueger2's command range instead, or just trying to get Hurricane into Melee as quick as possible instead.

My general idea, when building list pairs is to only let one of the lists lean on electricity. So like, if I build Maddox Storm Division, I'm going to be looking at pairing her with something like Kraye hit and run tactics. That way I never end up stuck in a place where my opponent has a lot of Lightning immune stuff and I've just lost my ranged game.
