Well folks, last weekend was Florida-con aka The Crucible. I want to point out some very interesting things I observed.
First my lists.
Haley2 - Storm Division
Stormwall
Thorn
Squire
Storm Lances (max)
Storm Lances (min)
Katherine
Jr
Firefly
Stryker1 - Heavy Metal
Stormwall x2
Charger
Squire
Arlan
Jr
Charger
Jakes
Charger
Second, 2 of my 3 losses came from playing against convergence (mainly cause I had no knowledge how to play them). Also I lost every match I used Haley2 which was the only times I played CoC. This is very interesting to me because while Storm Lances have been cried about, whined about, and complained about. Every single one of my opponents had a gun line or a list just as fast as mine. Don't get me wrong I do think Storm Lances should lose eleap on the gun and Katherine should lose her +2 to hit buff part but overall people were coming prepared to fight lances and it worked forcing me to play my other list everytime. I also want to point out 3 of my games I dropped Stryker, I didn't lose a single model. His list is a tough one to crack.
