So, I was looking at my Stryker2 list, thinking about what it could use. I'm thinking this:
Heavy Metal 75/75 Stryker 28* -Rowdy 18 -Ironclad 12 -Lancer 10 -Lancer 10 -Charger 9 -Charger 9 -Squire 0 Junior 0 -Charger 9 Runewood 0 Sword Knights 13 Sword Knights 13
The chargers (which replace the stormclad I was running) can do some long range pummeling which I had not had easy access to. They also can cover more ground for body blocking, applying positive charge and flank, and take a good amount of effort to kill for their points.
Thoughts?

I have been running Stryker 2 Heavy Metal for a while now, and is in my pairing for the foreseeable future, I absolutely love him.
I have not tried him with any Sword Knights (except the free Runewood), however I do think Stryker 2 does an awful lot for them, Decel to protect on the approach, Positive Charge and plenty of flanking targets, 16" run and hit range with the feat, they also provide a good meat shield for him, and are pretty cheap to boot.
the main reason I have gone for all warjack is to maximise the free points, but also to render any anti-infantry guns my opponent has as pretty useless

The list I've run does tend to suffer into enemy guns/infantry killing. With +2 deploy and pathfinder, I have found that the knights get far up the field enough to make a difference.
I've found them to be a really useful unit with eStryker. They CAN be pow 12 weaponmasters with mat 11. They threaten melee further than storm blades. Def 15 in melee is pretty solid, and makes enemy heavies spend lots of foc/fury to hit them. So, they can jam stuff up, or do some serious work. The big trouble I find is keeping their cost down. They basically need pathfinder to be fast. Runewood does that, and in this list he can be free. As far as I'm concerned, if my opponent spends 1-2 turns shooting sword knights (who will spend both turns running forward to certain death), then that's good for me.
